Climb a volcano! A family friendly 1km walk up Windy Hill introduces little adventurers to deciduous and coniferous woodland before heading over the wide open moorland to scale the summit.
Have a picnic, there are beautiful spots on site by the river and under the trees.
Spot the owl carving near Orblis hill or run through the willow tunnels on one of the woodland trails.
Watch for birds on the Visitor Centre feeders over a hot cuppa and tasty cake (Centre open weekends only in Summer).
Hunt for the Muirshiel Forest Folk or do the Insect Hunt and improve your ID skills.

Muirshiel’s toilets, tracks, trails & car parks are open daily.
